Senator Hotels & Resorts Purchases Three Hotels in the Dominican Republic

The Spanish-based Senator Hotels & Resorts chain recently began operations in the country by purchasing the largest hotel complex in the north coast city of Puerto Plata.  The complex consists of three hotels with a total of 1,590 rooms.  The chain is a leading company in Andalucia, in southern Spain, with 25 years’ experience in the tourism sector.  It currently operates 37 hotels in Spain.

The chain recently purchased the Merengue, Mambo and Bachata hotels, previously owned and operated by the Riu chain of hotels.

Senator Hotels & Resorts also operates hotels in Madrid, Barcelona, Granada, Valencia, Sevilla, the Canary Islands, and other regions in Spain.
