Puntacana Resorts & Club Will Host PGA Tour 2018 Championship

Puntacana Resorts & Club recently announced that it will host a PGA Tour tournament in its award-winning “Los Corales” championship golf course.

Frank Rainieri, founder and president of the Puntacana Group, announced that the resort’s top golf courses – all designed by world-famous architects – will turn the Punta Cana tourism region into a key golf destination in Latin America.

The tournament will place the Dominican Republic among the top golf destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America.

By including the CoralesPuntacana Resort & Club golf course in the PGA tour calendar the D.R. will become the third country to host a golf tournament of this top category.

The Dominican Republic currently has 29 golf courses, designed by such world-famous architects as Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye, P.B. Dye, Gary Player, Tom Fazio, Nick Faldo, Nick Price, Pepe Gansedo and Robert Trent Jones.
