The country’s Civil Aviation Board approved 906 charter flights for the upcoming months, most of them from important European capitals and cities. The majority of these flights will fly directly to Punta Cana’s international airport, as well as to the north coast airports situated in Puerto Plata and Samaná.
From London, Thompson Airwayshas announced 236 flights and Eurowingwill have 136 from Cologne, Germany to Puerto Plata – on the country’s north coast – and Punta Cana.
From Lisbon, Portugal, Orbestwill operate 57 direct flights to Samaná, on the country’s northeast región. The airline TUI Netherland announced 97 flights from Amsterdam to Punta Cana.
Tui Airlines Belgium will have 140 flights from Brussels, while Condor Flugdienst announced 39 flights between Frankfurt to Puerto Plata and Punta Cana.
The following airlines will fly to La Romana and Punta Cana from various U.S. cities: Caribbean Sun, Swift Air, Tem Enterprises, MN Airlines and Miami Air. SUNWING Airlines will fly from Terranova and Vancouver, Canada.
“AerolíneasArgentinas” and Latin American Wings will have 179 flights between Buenos Aires and Santiago, Chile.
