The Casa de Campo Resort & Villas resort recently announced its second annual “Flavors of the World” gastronomic festival.
The event’s program will include a host of activities that will focus on an internationally recognized chef that will work with Anthony Masas, the resort’s Executive Chef.
The Festival is scheduled to take place from April 13-16, and this year will honor the cuisine of Bogota, the capital of Colombia. Invited chefs will be Leonor Espinosa and Mark Rausch.
The program will begin with an inaugural Tapas dinner, on Thursday, April 13, in “Playa Minitas” – one of the most beautiful beaches in the country’s eastern region. Chef Espinosa will be in charge of the main entrees, while Chef Rausch will prepare all desserts.
On Friday, April 14, there will be a six-course dinner at “La Piazzetta” with Chef Masas. On Sunday, April 16, the program includes a casual brunch prepared by Chef Rausch.
“’Flavors of the World’ brings together top-rated national and international chefs, a combination that guarantees that our guests will share with us our passion for the incredible gastronomic experiences that brings us together,” explained the president of “Casa de Campo,” Andres Pichardo.
