Spanish daily “El Mundo,” one of Spain’s most important media outlets, regards the Dominican Republic as one of the most “in” destinations in the Caribbean, the perfect place for an unforgettable vacation.
“What better plan for a getaway than to lie on the beaches of Punta Cana,” said the newspaper recently in an online article on the Dominican Republic.
The article reveals that the Punta Cana beaches are considered among the finest in the world, and encourages its readers to enjoy the incredible “packages” offered by most all-inclusive hotels in the area.
It also recommends visiting the nearby city of La Romana, a name that was given to honor a Roman family that settled in the area and that use danold Italian balance to weigh merchandise.
The article also features the beauty of the country’s north coast, especially the oceanside town of Rio San Juan and the Bay of Samana.
