Dinner with Swedish Chef Bengtsson at the Iberostar Grand Hotel Bávaro

The Iberostar Grand Hotel Bávaro, in the country’s beautiful eastern region, announced a top culinary event with Swedish chef Emma Bengtsson for February 11.

Chef Bengtsson is the recipient of two Michelin stars and is currently at the Aquavit Restaurant in New York City.

Hotel guests and local residents participated in the exclusive dinner, priced at US$170.

The menu consisted of a selection of raw oysters in their shells, grilled octopus with “chorizo” (pork sausage), salt cups with cucumber pickles, egg yolk with venison, Osettra caviar in white butter with smoked fennel, grilled lobster with juniper, red snapper with cauliflower and grosella with pistachio powder and finally, grilled beef with apple puree.
