Pawa Dominican Airlines Will Feature Dominican Dishes on Flights to Miami

The airline recently inaugurated two daily direct flights between Miami and Santo Domingo.

Airline executives announced that the Dominican carrier will serve Dominican dishes prepared by Chef Tita, an ambassador of Dominican cuisine, while flight attendants will wear uniforms designed by Dominican designer Luis Dominguez.

Flights are scheduled to depart from Santo Domingo at 10:15 a.m. and at 6:30 p.m., and from Miami’s International Airport at 5:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

Currently, the United States is the Dominican Republic’s main destination. Between January-October some 1.7 million U.S. citizens visited the country through its international airports.
