The first seminar on biodiversity and tourism, titled “New Market Trends for a Growing Region,” will be held November 3-4 at the Jaragua Hotel in Santo Domingo.
Experts from the Global Nature Fund (GNF) will participate in the event.
The goal of the seminar is to provide the necessary tools needed to incorporate biodiversity issues in the management of a company and develop an implementation plan tailored to the specific needs of businesses.
Another important point will be to facilitate the experience of good practices with representatives from the public and private sectors.
The seminar is being sponsored by the Ministries of Tourism and the Environment, the German Agency for Technical Cooperation, and Counterpart International.
