The Viva Wyndham Resorts chain is betting on the popularity of adults-only hotels in the Dominican Republic with the opening of two new all-inclusive facilities in Puerto Plata and Samana, both on the country’s beautiful north coast.
The new hotels are the “V Heavens,” situated in the Playa Dorada Resort complex in Puerto Plata, and the “V Samana,” in the beachfront community of “Las Terrenas,” in Samana Bay, on the country’s northeast region.
These two new hotels will introduce Viva Wyndham’s “V Collection” brand in the Dominican Republic.
The “V Heavens” is an all-inclusive 190-room facility featuring “Amnesia,” “Superior,” “Nirvana” and “Standard” Junior Suites.
The new facility features a swimming pool, jacuzzi, spa, gymnasium, cigar shop and lounge, 24 hour room service, as well as a waiter in the beach area.
Also, its “V Kitchen” buffett restaurant, four a la carte restaurants, beach snack bar, and access to the Playa Dorada golf course, designed by Robert Trent Jones.
The 144-room “V Samana” hotel is divided into two categories: “V Rooms”and VIBE Rooms.
This particular facility also features a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, a fully air-conditioned gymnasium, a natural spa, jogging track, and cigar shop and lounge. Guests will have access to kayak tours.
The “V Samana” features three restaurants, 24-hour room service, and a bartender at the beach area and pool.
