The Barcelo Bavaro Beach Resort recently announced the second annual Barcelo Bavaro Dominican Flavors Culinary Week from November 15-22.
The festival will take place at the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adults Only and the Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe.
The event will feature special breakfasts, lunches and dinners, all inspired by the best Dominican cuisine has to offer.
The event will also feature beer, rum and chocolate tastings.
The program will also include live cooking and cocktail preparation classes.
National and international chefs will participate in the week-long event, including bakers, bartenders and rum masters.
Top Dominican chefs (Rosa Maria Gomez-La Chefa, Martin Omar Gonzalez, Erika Infante and Carlos Mejia) will prepare and present some of their best creations.
The 589-room Barcelo Bavaro Beach For Adults Only, is situated right on Bavaro Beach, in Punta Cana, considered to be one of the world’s most beautiful beaches.
The 1,402-room Barcelo Bavaro Palace Deluxe is also situated on the beach.
All together, the resort features 11 restaurants, a spa and a golf course. Its nine a la carte restaurants include “Chez Gourmet” (International); “La Brisa” (Mediterranean); “El Coral” (Seafood); “Santa Fe” (Steakhouse); “La Dolce Vita” (Italian); “Mexico Lindo;” “La Fuente” (Spanish), “Kyoto” (Japan) and “La Comedie” (French).
