The Punta Cana International Airport recently announced the arrival of new flights from Lima, Peru.
AVIANCA and LAN Peru airlines announced that they have scheduled four weekly flights, between the Peruvian capital and Punta Cana.
The AVIANCA flight from Lima to Punta Cana will arrive in Punta Cana at 4:29 p.m. and depart at 5:14 p.m. All flights will be on board Airbus 320 aircraft.
The AVIANCA hub in Lima will transport to Punta Cana passengers coming in from Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, Asuncion, La Paz and Santa Cruz, among others.
The airline will also offer an additional seven flights per week to Punta Cana via Bogota, and another seven flights between Santo Domingo and Bogota. With the original four flights currently scheduled, these new flights will bring the total number of weekly flights from Lima to Punta Cana to an impressive 18 flights.
LAN Peru also increased from 7 to 10 its direct flights from Lima to Punta Cana. The new flights will arrive in Punta Cana at 6:10 p.m. and depart for Peru at 11:55 p.m.
