The best polo teams from Canada, the United States, Guatemala and the Dominican Republic will participate in the semifinal championship, scheduled for Thursday, December 4, and Saturday, December 20 on the grounds of Casa de Campo, one of the Caribbean’s top resorts.
This will be the third time this important regional polo resort hosts the championship semifinals, organized by the Federation of International Polo.
Casa de Campo has three polo grounds for national and international competitions, and one practice ground.
In all, there will be two major events: the first will be held on Thursday, December 4, with a match between the Dominican Republic and Guatemala. The winner will compete against Canada or the United States.
The second match is scheduled for December 20 and the winning team will go on to the final match, scheduled to take place in Chile in March 2015. In 2011 the world-famous resort organized the World Polo semifinals. Competing teams were from the U.S., Guatemala and Mexico.
