Casa de Campo Win Second Consecutive “Best Golf Resort”

The famed Caribbean resort was recently issued, for a second consecutive year, the Gold Magellan Award as “Best Golf Resort” in the Caribbean. The awards are issued annually by the airline’s Travel Weekly magazine.

The Gold Magellan Awards are issued to the very best offers in the international travel industry. The selections are made by top industry professionals.

Casa de Campo features three award-winning golf courses, all designed by legendary golf architect Pete Dye.

The first and by far the most famous, the number one golf course in the Caribbean region, is the Teeth of the Dog golf course. This golf course opened more than 40 years ago.

The other two courses are the Dye Fore and The Links, attracting players from all over the world.

This world-famous resort has been included on various occasions on the list of the World’s Leading Golf Resorts,” a prestigious list prepared by the World Travel Awards.

Casa de Campo is home to more than 1,500 villas and luxury residences, five golf courses (three included on the list of the world’s very best), a cruise port, international airport, a marina for 350 boats up to 250 feet long, as well as a wide range of sports facilities and many other amenities.
