Occidental Hotels & Resort Continue to Refurbish Facilities in Punta Cana

The international hotel chain is strengthening its Vacation Club offer in the Dominican Republic, as part of its efforts to improve its most important facilities in the Caribbean.

Occidental is expected to invest some US$8.5 million in its flagship hotels in the region.

Occidental Grand Punta Cana will soon inaugurate its First Club Lounge, recently remodeled at a cost of US$1.4 million.

The First Club Lounge is an exclusive area for First Club and Vacation Club members. All members have access to private check-in, concierge service, recreation and reading rooms, free wi-fi and access to a selection of premium wines and beverages.

Members will also have access to a special area for breakfast and light lunches.

The Occidental Grand Punta Cana recently opened its Arena Beach Club, a new beach bar concept for Vacation Club and Royal Club members.

This exclusive space will provide guests with the perfect spot for enjoying a drink in the beach beds available. The bar also features a private butler service and two Jacuzzis for the exclusive use of its members.
