The candidates for the Miss France 2015 pageant will travel to the Dominican Republic in November 2014 as part of their training.
They will visit Punta Cana, on the country’s easternmost region, and the capital city of Santo Domingo as part of their training.
The visit of the 33 beauty candidates is being organized by the Dominican Ministry of Tourism office in France, the tour operator Héliades and XL Airways.
The candidates, young women between the ages of 18 and 25, will stay at the Hotel Bavaro Princess for a full week.
Some 30 journalists are expected to cover the activities planned for the French beauty queens during their stay in the Dominican Republic.
TFI, the most important television station in France, will also cover the visit.
Also traveling with the candidates will be Flora Coquerel, the current Miss France, and by Sylvie Tellier, Director General of the Miss France Committee.
Héliades is a French tour operator which recently began operations with the Dominican Republic.
XL Airways is currently the French airline with the highest number of flights to the country.
The Princess Bavaro is an all-inclusive 768-room hotel featuring seven restaurants.
