Casa de Campo, one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive resorts, will be home to various important sports events. Situated in the country’s eastern region, the world-famous resort will host two international golf tournaments and one international tennis tournament.
The 35th International Casa de Campo Tennis Tournament is scheduled for August 28, an event that for many years has attracted tennis enthusiasts from around the world.
The “La Terraza Tennis Club” will host the four-day event. All categories, including men and women, will be played.
One of the most anticipated events by international golfers is the Casa de Campo Open Golf Tournament, scheduled from September 10-14.
On November 8 the Third La Romana-Bayahibe Golf Tournament will take place. Organized by the La Romana-Bayahibe Tourism Cluster, the tournament will be played at The Links, one of the resorts world-class golf courses.

U.S. Player Michael Butacavoli was the winner of the Dominican Open Golf Tournament. The tournament is the seventh stop of the PGA Latin American Tour circuit.
The tournament was held at the Teeth of the Dog golf course with the participation of 144 players representing 25 countries.
Dominican Willy Pumarol finished the last round with 71, and was the only national player to complete the four-day tournament. He completed his final round with 71 and was the Dominican who played all four rounds of the tournament. He tied for 25th place in the final tournament list.
