Catalonia Hotels Continues to Receive High Grades for Excellent Working Environment

The three Catalonia Hotels & Resorts chain hotels in the Dominican Republic were once again included, for a fifth consecutive year, on the list of Best Companies to Work For in the Caribbean and Central America 2014. The selection is made annually by the U.S. organization Great Place to Work, with affiliates in 45 countries. This category includes hotels with 500-5,000 employees.

The Catalonia Gran Dominicus (Bayahibe) came in second on the coveted list. The Catalonia Bavaro (Punta Cana) came in third and the Catalonia Royal Bavaro (Punta Cana) came in fifth. An excellent workplace environment will contribute to the quality of service offered guests.

The “Best Places to Work in the Caribbean and Central America” award is issued to those companies that maintain good business practices and generate high levels of trust among their employees.

The Catolonia Gran Dominicus is an all-inclusive 400 room facility situated in the beachfront community of Bayahibe, on the country’s eastern region. The once sleepy fishing village of Bayahibe is known for its world-class white-sand beaches.

The all-inclusive 711-room Catalonia Bavaro and the 255-room Catalonia Royal Bavaro are both situated in Cabeza de Toro, in Punta Cana, one of the Caribbean’s most important tourism destinations. The complex features two world-class golf courses; a beautiful and very private white-sand beach; 18 restaurants and bars; various water sports, including canoeing and windsurfing; various swimming pools; a casino; disco and free Wi Fi service.
