According to the online daily “The Caribbean Journal,” the Dominican restaurants “Meson de la Cava” and “Lucia” appear on the list of the Caribbean’s top 50 restaurants in 2013.
The “Meson de la Cava,” in the capital city of Santo Domingo, “is a classic in the Caribbean,” providing outstanding service for more than 40 years. The restaurant is located in one of the many ancient caves found along the scenic Mirador Sur Avenue, in the heart of the city’s equivalent to Central Park.
