The Dominican Republic will host Caribbean Tourism Investment Conference


The fourth Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Investment Conference (CHICOS 2014) will be held for the second time in the Dominican Republic from November 13-14 at the Hard Rock Casino Punta Cana Hotel.  The event will be organized by the Global Hospitality Service (HVS), and co-sponsored by the Caribbean Tourism Organization and the Association of Caribbean Hotels and Tourism.

Conference organizer Global Hospitality Service (HVS) made the announcement while, at the same time, indicating that the Caribbean Tourism Organization and the Hotel Association of Caribbean Hotels and Tourism are co-sponsoring the event.

The Dominican Republic was chosen as the venue for the Conference because it currently receives 25% of all visitors to the Caribbean region, and is the recipient of 50% of tourism investments in the Caribbean.
