Delta Air Lines announced that it will operate two additional flights from JFK Airport in New York City to Santo Domingo and Santiago, beginning in June of this year and ending October 20. The flights will help meet the high volume in traffic seen throughout the summer months.
With these two additional flights, Delta brings up to six the number of daily flights between New York City and the country’s two largest cities. The aircraft used for these flights will be a Boeing 737-800, with capacity for 160 passengers.
The two additional flights will run between June and October, 2014.
The first flight will depart New York City at 7:30 a.m. and arrive in Santo Domingo at 11:18 a.m.
The second flight will depart at 12:05 p.m. and arrive at 3:56 p.m. A third flight is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. with arrival in Santo Domingo at 6:25 p.m.
Santo Domingo flights will depart at 1:40 p.m. and arrive at JFK at 5:25 p.m.
A later flight is scheduled to leave Santo Domingo’s Las Americas International Airport at 7:30 a.m. and arrive in New York City at 11:21 a.m. A third flight will depart at 7:30 a.m. from Santo Domingo and arrive in New York City at 11:21 a.m.
From Santiago, flights are scheduled to leave from New York City at 7:00 a.m. and arrive at 10:42 a.m.
A second flight is scheduled to leave JFK at 9:00 a.m. and arrive at 12:40 p.m., and an additional flight will depart at 8:30 a.m. and arrive in Santiago at 12:19 p.m.
Santiago flights will depart for New York at 1:45 p.m. and arrive at 5:26 p.m.; another at 7:05 a.m., arriving at JFK at 10:46 a.m., and an additional one leaving at 11:45 a.m. and landing at Kennedy at 3:27 pm.
