Pop singer Rihanna will present her “Diamonds World Tour” this October 26 at the Fillmore Hall Ballroom at the Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana, in the country’s easternmost region. The ballroom holds some four thousand guests. The singer has won several American Music Awards, 19 Billboard Music Awards, two BRIT Awards, and seven Grammy Awards. Born in Barbados, Rihanna’s style is known for its blend of R & B with exotic Caribbean rhythms. Rihanna has brought her world tour to the United States, England, Morocco, Spain, Portugal, Turkey and France, to name but a few countries. Before her Punta Cana concert, she is expected to perform in Israel, China and Australia.
The world tour is sponsored by Budweiser, and ticket prices range from US$70 to US$500.
The Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana features 15 swimming pools, nine restaurants, a golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus and the Rock Spa, ranked by the Fodors Guide as one of the top ten spas in the Dominican Republic. Performers that have brought their individual programs to the hotel include: David Guetta, Enrique Iglesias and Calvin Harris, among others.
