The fourth annual International Golf Tournament (DR OPEN 2013) will be held from May 27 to June 2 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino’s Cana Bay golf course, in Punta Cana, on the country’s eastern region.
The event is being coordinated by the Dominican Golf Federation Golf, and participants are expected from Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Peru and Puerto Rico, to name just a few countries.
The DR OPEN began in 2010 with participants from 12 countries. In 2012 that number jumped to 23. The golf event is part of the PGA Latin America Tour.
“Casa de Campo” Open Golf Tournament
The “Casa de Campo” golf tournament will be held from August 11-15 at the Teeth of the Dog and Dye Fore golf courses, both designed by renowned architect Pete Dye.
The event is organized by “Casa de Campo,” one of the most important Caribbean resorts.
Last year players from the United States, Aruba, France, St. Thomas, Curacao, Canada, the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Mexico, Haiti, Italy, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Australia and the Dominican Republic participated in the annual event.
