The Dominican Republic’s tourism offer grew in 2012 thanks to the opening of various tourism facilities.
The new attractions are:
The Millennium Resort and Spa Boutique Hotel, a 60-room ocean front hotel situated in Cabarete, on the country’s north coast, home to a popular kiteboarding school.
NH Punta Cana, in Punta Cana, catering specifically to the business traveler; the 66-room.
Four Points by Sheraton Puntacana Village, near Punta Cana’s international airport, the 125-room.
Hacienda del Mar in Punta Cana, the Puntacana Resort & Club, with 60 apartments ranging in various sizes (95, 162 and 206 square meters) and offering one to three bedroom suites.
Also added i the 20-suite Sublime Samaná Hotels & Residence, in the northeast province of Samaná (and a member of the Small Luxury Hotels), and the Cofresi Palm Beach & Spa Resort in Puerto Plata, on the country’s northern region, with 468 rooms.
