Mangú Disco in Punta Cana completely refurbished for Pre-Desalia 2013 Bash

Mangú, the Occidental Grand Punta Cana Hotel’s iconic disco, will host the exclusive Pre-Desalia parties, scheduled for February 19-21.

The annual Desalia festival parties have become an important tourism attraction in Punta Cana, the country’s popular tourism destination situated in the country’s easternmost region.

Tens of thousands of tourists have participated in the annual bash. The disco was closed in order to refurbish it for the upcoming event. It is officially scheduled to open on February 10, featuring new areas and décor.

The disco can accommodate up to one thousand guests.  Since its opening 12 years ago, more than one million people have visited the Mangú Disco.

After the Pres-Desalia event, the Baccanali super production will be held on February 22.  This particular event brings together the most prestigious international DJs.  The event is considered to be a true feast for the senses.

When it opens, the refurbished disco will feature: a two-story fully air-conditioned structure; outdoor terrace, four bars, outdoor plaza, two DJ booths, 15 VIP areas, two dance floors, two private dance floors in the VIP area and a store.

The aim is to provide patrons with an innovative nightlife venue, featuring a modern and comfortable ambience.  The information was provided by Mr. Pablo Diaz, Director of Marketing and Communications for Occidental Hotels in the Dominican Republic.
