Third annual Festival of Flowers

Jarabacoa, known as the Dominican capital of eco and mountain tourism, held its third annual festival of flowers.

The event was held September 21-24, in the town square.

The annual event includes an impressive display of flowers and birds.

Also provided are children’s playgrounds, a painting exhibition and poetry reading honoring Nature. Important Dominican poets participate in this event.

Also on hand: arts and crafts fair, farmers market, art exhibits, folk music festival, a children’s parade to the Wall of Hope and a colorful parade featuring floats and horses.
