Featured dominican presence in Moscow

Moscow’s famous international tourism fair hosted the music, dances, cigars, arts and crafts, cuisine and, most important of all, the natural beauty of the Dominican Republic.

The country’s Vice Minister for International Promotion, Magaly Toribio, said at the Moscow MITT Fair that last year more than 120,000 Russians visited the country, representing a 58% jump in arrivals, in comparison with 2010 numbers.

Russian tourists accounted for 11% of all European tourists visiting the Dominican Republic.

The 150 square-meter Dominican booth at the fair featured 14 companies providing tourism services between the Dominican Republic and Russia:  Allianc Russian Travel, Terramar Caribe, Travel Service Russia, SRL, Blue Travel Partner Services, Galeon Travel, Ninfa TourAClub, Grand Resorts Cap Cana, Riu Hotels & Resorts, Hard Rock Punta Cana, Ocean by H10 Hotels, Be Live Hotels, Princess Hotels & Resorts, and Solaya Hotel& Resorts.
