Delta Airlines announced that in March it will double the number of direct flights between New York City and the Dominican Republic.
Before the announcement Delta offered a daily flight from New York City to Santo Domingo and Santiago.
The announcement indicates that Delta will now be offering two daily flights to both cities. Delta flights will leave Kennedy Airport to Santo Domingo at 8:30 a.m.(Dl487) and 8:30 p.m.(DL493) Return flights will be at 2:00 a.m.(DL488) and 1:40 p.m.(DL494).
Santiago flights will leave Kennedy at 8:10 a.m. (DL549) and at 9:10 p.m.(DL555), returning to NY at 2:02 a.m.(DL556) and 1:15 p.m.(DL550)
The announcement was made by Nicolas Ferri, Delta’s Vice president for Latin America and the Caribbean.
Ferri explained the Delta’s goal is to double the number of passengers it currently flies between New York, Santo Domingo and Santiago.
