The “Be Live” brand, belonging to the Spanish hotelier group Globalia (also owners of Air Europa), is currently operating five hotels in the Dominican Republic. The hotels are situated in Punta Cana, Bayahibe (on the country’s easternmost region), in Boca Chica (30 minutes east of Santo Domingo, the capital city) and in Puerto Plata (the north coast’s most important city). The hotel chain is currently operating 2,519 rooms in the country.
In Boca Chica, a resort community situated just 10 minutes east of Las Americas International Airport, is the “Be Live Hamaca Suites” and the “Be Live Hamaca.” The former is a five-star facility, while the latter is a four-star resort. Between both hotels there are 697 rooms. Both facilities offer swimming pools, private beaches, spas, casinos and formal meeting rooms.
In the La Romana-Bayahibe area, on the country’s east coast, visitors will enjoy the facilities provided by the Hotel “Be Live Canoa”, a four-star facility, offering 532 rooms, villas and penthouses. All rooms have balconies, with garden, pool or ocean views. In the “Costa Dorada” resort complex, in Puerto Plata, visitors will truly marvel at the five-star, 584 room, “Hotel Be Live Gran Marien.” The facility is located just five minutes from downtown Puerto Plata, and 30 minutes from the city’s international airport.
Finally, the five-star “Hotel Occidental Grand Punta Cana” offers 706 beautiful rooms and is located near Punta Cana, considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. It is located some 30 minutes from the international airport terminal. The hotel offers all the important amenities a facility like this can offer: meeting rooms, spa and casino.
