Visitor’s Map to Santo Domingo’s Colonial Attractions

The Hidden Dominican Treasures is a new bilingual tourism map that will help the visitor make his/her way through Santo Domingo’s Colonial Section. Sponsored by the Hostal Nicolas de Ovando MGallery, one of the Section’s most important hotels which is located in one of the first buildings built in Colonial Santo Domingo, the map walks the visitor through many of the historic buildings that were built during the Colonial period.

The map shows and promotes the cultural, historical and economic strength of the Colonial Zone, which features the first Cathedral of the Americas as well as other monuments built by the Spanish Conquistadors during the sixteenth century.  The map is available in English and Spanish free of charge to visitors.
