New Extreme Sports Park in Santo Domingo

The Zipline Park is the country’s newest and most modern extreme sports facility.  The new facility is situated some 45 minutes north of Santo Domingo, off Duarte Highway, the country’s most important thoroughfare and the one that connects Santo Domingo with the country’s north coast.

The new park offers an exciting aerial runway (also known as a zip line) – which gives the participant the possibility of literally flying through the air strapped to a wire harness – paintball, bungee jumping and rock climbing facilities.  Other possibilities include horse-back riding and a batting cage, for baseball lovers.  Zipline Park is manned by experts in each particular area.

Situated in the “Rancho Tio Pancho”, a beautiful and crystal-clear river runs through the park.  Cost for a one-day trip is US$35 for adults and US$20 for children.  Cost covers the use of all attractions, lunch and drinks (
