One Dollar To Help Support Children’s Programs

Guests staying at the Viva Wyndham Resorts hotels will have the opportunity to donate one dollar to support programs sponsored by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).  The contribution will appear as a donation in the guest’s checkout bill.

This particular hotel group was the first in the Dominican Republic to sign a cooperation agreement with UNICEF to develop the “Guest of the Heart” program for children.

The funds raised will be donated to programs that help to improve the lives of needy children and adolescents in the Dominican Republic. One of the main objectives of the Viva-Unicef agreement is to train and educate hotel personnel on the rights of children.  The goal is for them to become multipliers of this information in their respective homes and communities.

The Viva Wyndham Resorts in Dominican Republic are the Viva Wyndham Dominicus Beach and Viva Wyndham Dominicus Palace in Bayahibe, outside the eastern region city of La Romana, and Viva Wyndham Tangerine in Cabarete, Puerto Plata, on the north coast.
